The contractor of an under-construction, 11,000-square-foot residence was referred to Nu Flow to protect the new home’s copper, underground potable system from corrosion and pinhole leaks, which are very common in copper pipes due to the natural corrosiveness of potable water.
The galvanized steel potable water lines that run beneath thecountry villa experienced pinhole leaks. The 1 1/4” diameter pipes are 30 years old. The pinhole leaks were located under the home’s garden, so a traditional re-pipe was not an option.
